What data do we process?
Name, address, postcode, email and phone number (to call you back). For an on-site roof inspection: photos of your roof (for quoting purposes, not published without your consent). For a job: invoice details and, for business customers, the VAT number.
What do we use your data for?
Only to respond to your request, issue a written quote, carry out the job, invoice, and to meet our legal seven-year retention obligation. We do not send marketing mailings.
How long do we keep your data?
Requests without follow-up: maximum twelve months. Job records and invoicing: seven years (Dutch tax authority retention obligation). Roof inspection photos: up to five years after completion for warranty claims, then destroyed.
Who do we share your data with?
Not with third parties for commercial purposes. We do share with our bookkeeper and, for bank payments. Our bank. For warranty claims we may share data with our suppliers (Zinkunie, NedZink, Iko, Esha) for product verification. If you choose to send the contact form by e-mail, your message is processed by the external form service Web3Forms (api.web3forms.com), which forwards it to us as an e-mail. The fields you fill in (name, phone number, e-mail address, address, type of work and message) and, technically, your IP address are sent to that service. Web3Forms acts as an external processor; what they do with data is governed by their own privacy terms (web3forms.com). If you choose WhatsApp, WhatsApp's privacy terms apply.
Which cookies does this site use?
This website does not set any cookies. There is no tracking, no advertising networks, no social-media pixels, and we do not collect visitor statistics. Only one setting is stored in your browser (localStorage key dg-theme) with your light/dark theme choice; it never leaves your device. The map on the homepage and the contact page loads map tiles from the OpenStreetMap tile server (tile.openstreetmap.org, operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation in the United Kingdom); that party technically receives your IP address and the page the map is on. No cookies are set in the process.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). Send your request to info@dgdakwerken.nl. We respond within 30 days.
