Two brothers,one mission.

Family business from Westland — active across South Holland. Quincy and Marvin de Groen — founded in 2023, grown from years of craftsmanship. This is their story.

Quincy gets started.

Just over 9 years ago Quincy started as a roofer — first employed, soon as self-employed. He often worked by the hour and took on whatever came his way. Through his craft and no-nonsense approach he built up a customer base. After a few years he went fully solo — and that grew quickly.

II.

Marvin joins in 2022.

Marvin had spent years in the technical and financial management of large buildings. After a burnout he could no longer handle that, but he didn't want to lose his knowledge and organisational skill. He stepped into roofing and soon worked alongside Quincy. The fit was instant: Quincy doing the work on the roof, Marvin the planning, calculation and customer contact.

2023 . DG Dakwerken is born.

Together they built up a strong network. More and more jobs they did as a duo — and in 2023 it was time for the next step: the official founding of DG Dakwerken, as a continuation of the existing DG Dienstverlening. The name fits better with what we do: real roofing, A to Z.

Quincy de Groen

Started just over 9 years ago as a young roofer in employment, soon went self-employed and built up a loyal customer base step by step. Quincy does the work on the roof — a craftsman in every tile, every seam.

Marvin de Groen

Spent years in the technical and financial management of large buildings. After a burnout he switched to roofing — gives DG Dakwerken its planning, sharp calculation and personal customer contact.

Laurens

Rounds off the team as an experienced fitter. Specialises in tiles, lead and zinc work. Where detail work needs that bit extra attention, Laurens is ready with his soldering iron.
